Not much going on in 2002 land for me this week. I did find out that the engine needs a timing chain, the clutch is slipping far more regularly and will need replacing VERY soon, and the rings are bad causing smoking on downshifts and deceleration. So rather than invest in this engine, I have decided to find a rebuilt engine…and have sourced one. So I am working out the details on that engine and preparing for an install….BUT I have found a set of e21 320is Recaro Sport seats in GREAT condition, and they will be going into the car soon! Here is a pic of the old seats soon to be replaced with a set of Recaro sport buckets!
