Interior update:
I have been getting lots of things done. Scratching things off my list of things to do. The progress is awesome and now I am making sure the details are getting done. It just seems at times I am checking things off the list that I am adding a few more. My interior is nearly finished. The last MAJOR thing to do is the headliner. The carpet is installed. Center console rebuilt and installed, seats front and rear installed. Door cards and vinyl installed. Audio system installed. VDO gauges installed, wiring on oil pressure and water temp need to be completed. Electric fan manual overide switch and indicator are installed. The switch is a blue LED and I had to use a resistor to drop the voltage. Damn that light is bright! E36 clock installed in the center console. Wired for power and dimming.
Still to do:
e-brake paint
The paint is chipping on the e brake. Need to sand it and repaint in satin black.
Brake and clutch pedal pads.
These are probably original and are worn.
Heater.
It’s never worked. Maybe it’s time to rebuild the heater box and to get the system working properly.
Steering Wheel
My e21 sport steering wheel is starting to lose its stitching. I can try an repair it myself or replace it with another one.
